word war 1 diary enters

   25 April 1915


 Dear diary  when we landed it did not go to plan as we thought it would go when we land our men were falling down like the rain it was really hard to not to get shot because there was so many bullets coming at you it felt like the bullets never slept because at just came nonstop it was like rain but bullets i found a spot that no bullets were coming in for a few minutes love yours Rupert. 


 

1 may 1915


Dear diary  routh day today lost lots of lives today too many to count more soldiers died today  because there was so much shartnil today  it stinks of rotten flesh like it is a horrible small in the trenches. but i'll have to get youst to it because it's only going to get worse and worse but lots of people got injured is well a speciale in the arm love Rupert.



4 may 1915


Today was mail day i was excited about what my family has sent me this time and can't wait to eat some food i have not eaten in 2 days because the shartnill is just coming and coming  down here but i found a spot for a couple of minutes my best friend died today his name was called rylan i better get out there  and fight for our country love from Rupert.


6 may 1915


Dear diary Not that much shartnill today but there has been lots of booms today isaiah got shot today but luckily he's still alive he's having a little rest so he gets better and he is going back to fight i have not got shot yet luckily  and have yous been good at home I've got youst to the rotten flesh now love from Rupert.





 10 may 1915  


Dear diary routh day today the shratnill has came back and it feels like it never sleeps and isaiah died today sadly and i got shot in the leg today but luckily i have not died yet but both of my friends died anyway how have you been at home am good accepted my leg getting shot love Rupert .



12 may 1915 


 Mail Today I wonder what my family sent back to me this time. I hope they are good at home. I'm ok my leg is getting better every day. I'm still fighting for the country. I wonder what my family sent me this time. Maybe it's about how they are doing. Hopefully they are doing good love Rupert.
